EDAC Incorporated is a Canadian designer and manufacturer of high-quality electronic connector and interconnect products. Its product line includes PLCC sockets, pressfit and card edge connectors, pin headers, USB and FireWire connectors, RJ45 jacks with or without LEDs, rack-and-panel, D-subminiature, DVI, metal-to-metal, waterproof and specialty/custom connectors, cable assemblies, and adaptors.
Some of the products produced at EDAC include the tradename 'EDACON' contact which is a high-reliability hermaphroditic connector system for rack-and-panel connectors, and 'Ultra-Mate' which is a compliant pin compliant pressfit card edge connector.
EDAC has a long-standing policy of working to a Total Quality System which involves everyone in the company. This Quality System has been the method of operation used by everyone from the most senior levels of management to everyone on the shop floor.
